Tennessee Valley Fair Fun 2017 (aka devouring fried fair food)

September 20, 2017

First off, I want to say it was AMAZING winning 2nd in Professional Wedding Portraiture this year at the fair as well as getting 3rd in Professional Animal Portraiture!~ Congratulations to all the other participants too!

It was such an honor and I can't wait to participate next year!

What also brings me into the fair is the smell of hot, sizzling fair food on a crisp night that is just on the edge of Summer changing into Fall! With my best friend Mel, I was able to enjoy fried twinkies for the first time and cajun chicken! The nachos are nothing new, but definitely a staple with all that gallon of yummy cheese on top! Haha! What is a diet...

I was also able to enjoy doing an impromptu photoshoot for my best friend Mel (@blair_noir on Instagram) showing off her new holographic jacket which complimented the lights of the fair nicely!~

A little tip for night time shoots with no flash: grab what light you can and have fun with it while using your highest ISO you can!~ It was really fun to do this with Mel and I definitely want to try out some more shoots dealing with neon lights!~

ALL IN ALL, the fair was so much fun. Besides the fact that we parked somewhere a little sketchy and we weren't able to see the fireworks this year, it was a perfect night out filled with people watching, scrumptious food, and acting silly with the bestie~

Stay awesome ya'll! Until next time!
